Have you ever visit to ancient place where you are astonished by thinking “How on earth this place can be built in such a beautiful view”? If you have not experience that kind of feeling directly from being on the spot, going to Peru is one of options that you might need to consider.

What makes this country so special? It is in the view of the nature and on the ancient sites where you can visit. One of the sites is called as Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu is an ancient site that was one by the Incas. It is therefore well-known as the “lost city of the Incas”. There, you can see amazing view of solid structure ruined city made of stone. It has been known by the local people since very long time ago, however, it becomes more famous after the professor Hiram Bingham visit the place in 1911 accompanied by Peruvian guide named Melchor Arteaga.

The city sits at 8,000 above sea level, surrounded by impressive mountains, deep canyons, covered in thick vegetation; the city was made also to protect the people from their enemies. In 1983, it became a World Heritage.

Of course Machu Picchu is only one of many other interesting places to visit in Peru. There you can also go to Colca Canyon to see the gigantic Andean Condor, Lake Titicaca, bizarre Nazca lines, and etc.
