Thinking about holidays that require some long trip, you must also consider about getting you and your family to have a decent hotel where you can stay while enjoying the destination place. Of course if you are planning to have backpacking trip, a tent will do good for you, however, if you want to invite your family to come along, unless you are planning to have a camping, you should prepare financial support to stay in a hotel.
